BETMA SAHIB at BETMA (Near Indore - MP) Betma  is a town and a nagar panchayat  in Indore District  in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Betma means 'sit mother'.   Betma Sahib is one of the pious Gurudwara of historical significance for Sikhs, as it is believed that Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited this place during his southern Udasi.  Guru Nanak Dev ji came here in 1567 and stayed here for 6 months. In The age of the Mughal Era, Betma was a paragna of Qanungoh (Kanungo) Hakh Dastoor 26 village under this Paragna.
