An Evening in #HarkiPauri

Har Ki Pauri, famous #ghat on banks of the #Ganges in #Haridwar. "Har" means "Shiva" and "Pauri" means "steps".

Lord #Shiva and Lord #Vishnu are believed to have visited the Brahmakund in Har Ki Pauri in the #Vedic times.

Visiting the place one gets a feeling it to be a very chaotic. A large sea of people coming to visit the holy place, sounds of puja from nearby tamples, baggers chasing and asking money or some food, shops selling delicious street food and products - mostly religious. All this happening alongside the banks of holy Ganga in the narrow streets which make it very disordered.

However, every chaos has an order hidden in it. And order here is SHIVA - the Power of Shiva is omnipresent here. So whether it's the pilgrims or the tourists, shopkeepers or baggers .... all do their bit not only to survive in this cruel world but also try to figure out the essence of life and in a process get realisation that the humanity is nothing more than a microscopic blip in the universe.
