#Thatyur to #Devalsari to #Aunter

When it comes to #Biking & #Trekking in Cricket parlons Test Match is the Doctor's Order. However, being a novice choose to do a 20-20 instead.

So here I was ready to take a 25 Km biking & 2 Km of #Trekking in mostly rough terrain in the lower #Himalayas with my younger brother - surrounded by #nature, #mountains, sound of river flowing nearby, sound of wind amplified by tall #Deodar trees.

If you are visiting this part of the world you should be prepared to leave most of the modern comforts behind & have the desire to head to the hills and get ‘back to nature’ (#backtonature). This is the place where you leave all hustle & bustle of city life, leave all noise & air pollution, leave all your tensions behind and devote yourself to #MotherNature. This is the place where you feel that the time has stopped.

Visited Devalsari (a hidden paradise of umpteen variety of #Butterfly) & Aunter village .... Base camps of #NagTibba trek. These are the heavenly gateway for those who love to explore raw nature.

As you move closer to Devalsari from Thatyur, the changing terrain makes it a terrific destination.

#Uttarakhand known as #DevBhoomi .... an abode of god. Besides #CharDham there are so many temples and some of them are not very popular but worth visiting.

Visited 2 such temples :-

1. Aancient lord #Shiva #Temple at Devalsari, is said to have build in the 1800’s, is surrounded by deodar trees.

2. Nag Devta Temple in Aunter village.

So what next after this small and brief rendezvous with nature ! The visit has left me with a feeling of craving for more.

When & where I will be back is a question only time will tell.
